As of 2021, Compassionate Hands Sponsors and maintains Two Children's Homes. Each home houses, cares for, and educates 50 Children, for a total of 100 Children. CHI provides for each child's entire ongoing support including food, clothing, shelter, and education. Additionally, CHI maintains each property, which includes ongong construction projects, facility repair, and supplies for the children such as beds.
The first CHI Childrens Home is located in Bijinapally, Inida. In Bijinapally, the local Language is Telugu. Bijinapally town has a total population of 7329 and the number of houses is 1586. Female Population is 49.1%. The literacy rate is 53.5% and the Female Literacy rate is 22.0%. Bijinapally was the First Childrens Home to be a part of Compassionate Hands. In addition to providing monthly support for the children, it has seen CHI's biggest investement in consturction (new dormitories, new toilets, new buildings and land acquisition), and site development (water systems and sewer lines).
The second Childrens Home is located in Kurnool, India. Kurnool is a city and the judicial capital of Andhra Pradesh, India. It also serves as the district headquarters of its Kurnool district. As of 2011 census, it is the fifth most populous city in the state with a population of 484,327. Kurnool is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra river.
